Guide to Purchasing a Print, Image Files, or Greeting Cards from Stone's Throwe
Prints

These are individual, high quality, unframed, unsigned, luster or matte surface, white bordered, photographic prints, in various standard sizes. The white border size around the image is determined by the image size and may vary from about 1/2 inch to 3 inches. Images are centered on the paper.
The gray border shown around some of the displayed images is to help in clearly showing the image edges against the black webpage backgrounds, these gray borders will not be part of the image unless a black bordered print is ordered.
Greeting Cards
Greeting cards are high quality, linen or gloss surface cards, either 4x5 or 5x7 inch bifold cards with NO imprint inside. Envelopes are included.
Greeting cards with randomly selected images are available from stock either individually or in sets of 10 random images. The 10-card sets and individual cards come with envelopes. "Random selection from stock" means there will be duplication, probably multiple duplications, of images on the cards in the 10 card sets. [Order 10 card sets by phone to select images if you don't want to trust the luck of the draw.]
Most non-portrait images on this website are available in 24-card sets of 4x5 inch, or 5x7 inch, bifold, blank inside, greeting cards. Call to order cards with images from other locations on the website.
Limited Editions and Print Sets
Images listed in this section are available only as prints. Images included in print sets listed in this section may also available individually, and some may also be available on greeting cards.
Digital Files and Clip Art CD/DVDs
Our digital files are high resolution, RGB/8, jpeg files, 200ppi or greater. An average file is about 3008x1960 pixels but sizes vary. Most images may also be delivereded in any of the common electronic still image formats or in CMYK on request. This section additionally features available sets of stock clip art image collections on various subjects, deliverable by email, ftp, or on CD or DVD discs.

Most images are available as unframed, unsigned, luster or matte surface, white bordered prints, ranging in just about any standard photo size thru 30x40 inches.
Most non-portrait images on the site may be also ordered as 4x5 inch, or 5x7 inch, blank inside, greeting card in sets of 24 cards. Imprinting is available on the cards with off-line orders.
Digital files are available for off-line ordering in most of the other common formats such as .tif, gif, psd, and others.
